Annual Giving

Class Agent- Joe Caltagirone

Our 2008-2009 AG campaign for Princeton ended June 30th, 2009.  This academic year, '62 raised a total of $273,580 with donations from 407 Classmates.  Since we now have 640 living Classmates, we achieved a 63.6% participation.

'62's participation percentage is down slightly from last year's 64.7%, which was our second highest participation rate ever.  Our highest participation was 2006/2007, when in honor of our 45th Reunion we achieved 66.9%!  As we get closer and closer to our 50th Reunion, we should note that the most recent 50th Reunion Classes achieved close to 80% participation.

This year's dollar amount is down just a bit from last year's total of $284,765.  Take a guess at how much our Class of 1962 has donated to Princeton's Annual Giving campaigns since graduation.  How about $12,547,905?  Pretty impressive, eh?

A rousing locomotive cheer for all our generous Classmates, for 62's many AG volunteers! We should all be proud these results and our commitment to Princeton.

Wow!  That’s 30 of us, working for an excellent cause.

Note that ‘62s AG efforts are supported by Princeton U. professionals at the AG office (’62 is very well represented there by Paul Raeder & Rand Mirante).
Proudly, because so much of the
fund raising effort is done by our volunteers, around 97% of all funds raised go to good use at the University.
