Annual Giving-55th Reunion
Under tenacious outgoing AG Chair Linwood Davis, SuperClass raised $1,472,221 for Princeton in honor of our 55th Reunion, a remarkable achievement as our dollar goal was $1,250,000.'62s participation reached 72.1%, our highest in the last five years. These excellent AG totals are the results of the tireless efforts of Special Gifts chairs Barry Friedberg and Nick Nicholas and their committee. Linwood had a lot of support from his AG Section team, and from our honorary Classmate Paul Raeder in Princeton's AG office. We all are grateful for the efforts of many volunteers, and to all who gave and supported '62 and Princeton. '62 is very proud that we're one of only 5 of the 80 Princeton classes that surpassed the 70% participation mark! Note that 1937 was one of those 5 classes, who with a single class member, laudably achieved 100%. Despite a few dreadful burgers, '62's 55th Reunion was a terrific success, and hearty thanks to Bob Medina. The spirit generated by the Reunion helped our 55th AG campaign to a very successful conclusion. A rousing locomotive cheer for all our generous Classmates, for incoming AG chair Frank Kemp, and for 62's many AG volunteers! We should all be proud of these results and our commitment to the Class and to Princeton.
